Eurenco

SNPE Matériaux Energétiques, NEXPLO Bofors and NEXPLO Vihtavuori, three of the world's best-known manufacturers of propellants, high explosives and other energetic materials, have joined forces to form EURENCO (European Energetics Corporation).

Created in January 2004, the company is jointly owned by SNPE Matériaux Energétiques (a subsidiary of GROUPE SNPE, with 60.2%), Saab (19.9%) and Patria (19.9%), all leaders in the high-tech defense, aerospace and chemicals industries.

EURENCO has annual sales exceeding 130 M€, more than 800 employees, five modern production plants in Belgium (Clermont), Finland (Vihtavuori), France (Sorgues, Bergerac) and Sweden (Karlskoga), plus full support from the world-class SNPE Matériaux Energétiques Research Center (Vert-Le-Petit/Le Bouchet in France).
